Apple Watch is a FLOP: Sales of the gadget have fallen by 90% since April, report claims
But Apple is standing firm on the Watch's popularity and said at the time the in-store sales were announced: 'The response to Apple Watch has surpassed our expectations in every way, and we are thrilled to bring it to more customers around the world.'

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/press/the-dizzying-decline-of-britain-s-local-newspapers-do-you-want-the-bad-news-or-the-good-news-9702684.html

The latest print circulation figures for Britain’s regional newspapers appear to show an industry driven to the precipice and staring at imminent extinction.

Sales are in freefall – down by an average of 13.5 per cent year-on-year in the first half of 2014. The poor South Wales Argus fell by an eye-watering 33.2 per cent and the Doncaster Star sold barely 1,000 copies a day.

The only exceptions to this trend are Scotland’s Sunday Herald, which added  1 per cent to circulation and has  10,000 online subscribers thanks to a policy of charging for its website, and the freely-distributed London Evening Standard (owned by the same company as The Independent and i), which grew by a hefty 27.2 per cent to 890,457 copies a day.

Yet this image of the local press as cornered and facing destruction is misleading. Nor is it the case that internet paywalls and free distribution offer the only escape route from an abyss.

We are about to launch the new 2016 version of the A20 Internet website. Just a few items to finish on phase one, so the site can go live.....

A great new portfolio section showing all our current live projects.

Unfortunately we have had to close two websites down towards the end of 2015, due to nonpayment of invoices. Of course we hate to do this but every attempt was made on our behalf to get the customer to pay the invoice in both cases. After 6 months of chasing with no reply it was time to act, I am sure we would all agree we acted fairly in both cases.

We currently have several live projects, and many more booked ahead for this year, we plan a big year in 2016, when the business will take a leap forward.

Many thanks to all our current clients, and all our future customers.

Lead times. If a web design company gives you a really short lead time is that a good thing?
We have another way of looking at this!!! If they have a really short lead time then maybe they have no other work, and if they have no other work, maybe they don't because they do not deliver. Maybe they have a huge amount of staff, so they can always cover very short lead times, but again this begs the question how can they do these lead times? Because they have staff with no projects, which brings us back to why?

We have come across a really annoying process, and it is really a big bugbear with us right now! This POSTCARD system used to verify Google places is so last century, and we are now asking the powers that be at #Google if we can become a super user, so that we can just design sites, market them, and verify them all together so we do not have to wait until Postman Pat delivers these postcards. I know we have to have some form of security in this day and age, but surely there is a better way than waiting for a small paper postcard to arrive........
